How DatePacer counts workdays

By default, Monday through Friday are workdays and Saturday and Sunday are not. When you add or subtract workdays, the start date is Day 0. In Count Business Days mode, you can choose whether to include each end of the date range.

Five workdays after a Friday

With the default Saturday–Sunday weekend and no added holidays, start on Friday, April 10, 2026 and add five workdays: the target is Friday, April 17. If you mark Monday, April 13 as a day off, the target moves to Monday, April 20. The calendar shows which dates counted and why others were skipped.

Use your own working calendar

Choose your regular non-working weekdays, then click any calendar date to mark it off or working. A single-date choice overrides the weekly rule. National public holidays are not loaded automatically; add the dates that apply to your schedule yourself.
